Is anything free?
Yes — recipients are always free. Anyone can create a free Doc-Assure account to receive shared documents, view them, download them (per the sender's permissions), and use AI Chat on docs explicitly granted to them. The 100 MB personal storage on the Free tier is just enough to preview the experience. To send a share, originate your own docs, or use AI Chat on your own files, you start at Personal (R29/month). The Personal tier comes with a 14-day no-card trial.
Why no consumer free tier on the build/send side?
Free apps make you the product. Dropbox, Google Drive, and Box train AI on your file metadata; we don't. We charge so we can keep your docs yours. R29/month is below your streaming subscription — we'd rather have customers than users.
Do per-seat rates go up or down with scale?
Per-seat overage rates go down with scale ($8 Micro to $3 Strategic). The value-based uplift is captured through higher base fees and ACV floors, not through per-seat inflation.
What is the difference between ComplyAssure and PrivacyAssure?
ComplyAssure covers broad regulatory compliance (9 items across 7+ frameworks) — audit trails, compliance dashboards, regulatory reporting. PrivacyAssure is specifically for data protection: POPIA, GDPR, and NDP Act compliance including data sharing consents, DSAR workflows, and breach registers. Most compliance buyers need both.
How does the African-Owned Business Launch Discount work?
Majority African-owned organisations (≥ 51% African shareholding) with fewer than 250 staff or less than $10M annual turnover receive 50% off all listed prices through 31 March 2028. Applied at checkout — no coupon required. Applies to all SKUs, bundles, and deployment models.
Can I mix deployment models across SKUs?
Generally, all SKUs for an organisation use the same deployment model. In rare cases (e.g., air-gap for CoreHub but cloud for Analytics Pro), speak with your account executive for a blended quote.
What about multi-year discounts?
Strategic Enterprise accounts can receive -8% per additional committed year after year 1. For example, a 3-year commitment receives -16% off the annual rate. Multi-year terms are available only at the Enterprise and Strategic tiers and require a signed MSA.
When will TrainAssure be available?
TrainAssure (learning management, compliance training, certification tracking) ships Q4 2026. Pre-orders are available now at the listed prices. Billing begins when the product goes live.
